As promised on Tuesday, here are some artist-made buttons that I hope will inspire you to join the Button Swap & Blog Hop. Sign-up deadline is March 1—next Tuesday!
You're not required to use these buttons in the swap—I just thought it would be fun to see the wide variety that are being created.
Etsy Treasury
Here's my Etsy treasury with handmade buttons made of fabric, glass, seed beads, wood, silver, pewter, ceramic, stone, and polymer clay.
Creating this treasury was especially fun since I'd heard of only two of the artists included. It's always fun to discover new talent!
I also found this Buttons for Beads Etsy treasury created by Happy Mango Beads, if you need more button inspiration.
ArtFire Collection
I'm not a member of ArtFire, so I couldn't make a collection. (If you're a member and want to create one, I'm happy to share a link here.) Instead, here a links to a few individual handcrafted buttons that I liked:
- I like these bright retro fabric-covered buttons by bluemanatee.
- These mossy green ceramic beads by TotallyToTheT would be sweet on a springtime jewelry design.
- I can't believe these textured beads by beadcomber are made from polymer clay!
Starting next week I'll share tutorials on making your own buttons. (And if you are tired of buttons, don't worry, I will have at least one post a week on a non-button topic!)
