The rose, peach, and ivory color combination, plus the floral clasp, make this multistrand bracelet a great summer accessory! You can make it with shorter beaded strands so it fits tightly against your wrist like a bold cuff or use longer strands so that they drape elegantly around your wrist.
My Inspiration
The Summer Sherbet Bracelet features three types of round beads: dyed bamboo pink coral rounds, white river shell rounds, and rose dyed quartzite rounds. Round beads are typically very affordable, but they can also look a little boring since they are so commonly used in jewelry designs.
To make this bracelet stand out, I created a subtle pattern by changing the number and placement of the beads on the strands. I also chose a unique flowered multistrand clasp that is perfect for a summer bracelet. A great clasp can be the difference between a ho-hum and humdinger jewelry design!
About the Bracelet Name
I'm one of those people who believe that ice cream can be happily eaten all year round. However, sherbet or sorbet with their soft, fruity colors are summer-only desserts. I also pronounce "sherbet" as "sure-bert" which I understand from the radio show "A Way With Words" is totally wrong. I chose the name because of the bead colors, but also just to show the world that I can spell that dessert name correctly even if I can't say it the right way!
