I've created three new earring tutorials featuring some of the newest Bead Gallery beads available at Michaels.
Earrings #1: Royal Owl Earrings
How cute are these glass owl beads? I've paired them with gold-toned branch connectors and made a perch for them using a filigree bead cap that I've bent slightly to fit over the branch. The purple glass rondelles include a mix of matte and AB finishes. That intoxicating mix of purple and gold inspired the project name. Full project instructions for the Royal Owl Earrings are available at Halcraft.
Earrings #2: Anchors Away Earrings
These would be perfect for wearing on a cruise! I used sparkly large anchor links and matching rondelles. The bright turquoise rounds also sport some sparkly dots which reminded me of drops of water ... or fun beach balls! These earrings are super easy to make. You'll only need to know how to open jump rings and make simple wire loops. Full project instructions for the Anchors Away Earrings are available at Halcraft.
Earrings #3: Roundabout Earrings
Not only do these statement earrings go with every outfit, but they're also very affordable! I used one package of multicolored seed beads to create these earrings and had enough left that I could easily make a matching necklace, bracelet, and/or many more pairs of earrings. I've used wire to wrap the strung beads around large rings. You can use jump rings (like the top rings) or thicker round bead frames (like the bottom rings). This project doesn't require too much attention once you get started, making it a good one to do while you're catching up on your TV shows on Netflix. Full project instructions for the Roundabout Earrings are available at Halcraft.
