I recently saw a copy of my book Unexpected Findings at my local Barnes & Noble. That was exciting ... and a little unreal, honestly. There were lots of well-known names sitting on that same jewelry shelf with me. The bookstore was fairly crowded, but no one batted an eye as I tried to get the perfect shot. I guess that's one benefit of social media: people are used to seeing others taking photos of weird stuff on their phones.
