Welcome to the Suddenly Spring Challenge & Blog Hop!
The Challenge
The idea behind this challenge was to take a ready made bracelet and turn it into something else—another piece of jewelry or something else entirely. Because of the wintry colors of this bracelet, I also suggested that everyone try to turn this into a spring piece. You can read more of the challenge details from the original post.
My Challenge Project
So where is my project?
This turned out to be a popular challenge. After I sold out, I sent one participant the first bracelet I'd saved for myself. I ordered a few more bracelets, since I had a few latecomers who wanted to participate and there was still lots of time left. I sold those that had been specifically requested and the few extras I had bought "just in case." Weeks passed. Then just before I started on my bracelet, I had one last request . . . and I sent away my very last bracelet.
I'd still like to do this challenge, but I think it may turn out to be my "Suddenly Summer" project. I will be ordering a third bracelet for myself . . . and one for anyone else who still wants to try this! (Just email me or leave a comment.) No new blog hop, but I'm happy to share your work here anytime.
