I'm at Bead Fest Santa Fe today. This will be a quick trip—just one day at the show. Since I'm writing and scheduling this blog post before I leave, I imagine I'm finding all sorts of beautiful beads at the exact moment you're reading this.
When I get back, I'll share photos of some of the treasures I found at the show. In the meantime, I wanted to share this photo with you. I bought this assorted box of Tazo tea so I could try a few new types, particularly the chai. (I am constantly searching for the world's best best cup of chai. If you have suggestions, I'd love to hear them.)
I didn't expect this glorious rainbow of color in the box. Part of me feels like saving all the packaging and making it into something—maybe use resin and make some kind of charm bracelet? The other part of me just wants to play with the colors and mix the bags up on the table. How would that purple and orange look together? Or that light blue and creamy yellow? I will drink the tea, eventually.
Have you found inspiration in an unlikely place?
Giveaway Reminder: I'm giving away copies of 2 books: Miss Scarlet's School of Patternless Sewing and Waking Up in the Land of Glitter. Just leave a comment on my Tuesday post to enter.
