I'm at the Hall of Gifts show in Fort Collins, Colorado this weekend (November 9-11, 2012). It's the first time I've had my own booth space beyond a simple table. It's also my first 3-day show. I'm a little nervous about it (Will anyone come? Will anyone buy anything? Did I make enough stuff?), so if you're in the area, please come by. I'd love to see a friendly face!
Next week I'll share some of my booth display. I had a lot of fun coming up with creative and inexpensive solutions.
By the way, quick tip for those of you who do craft shows. Take photos of your work! You don't need to take perfectly staged photos as you can see from the photo on this page. (What is with that ear wire in the corner? I think I bumped the table before I snapped the photo. Seriously, it looks fine in person, not all wonky!)
I didn't take photos of my first few sales and I regret it. You never know when you might want to be inspired by your old work or just marvel at how far you've come!
